TULSA, Oklahoma -

A man is behind bars for attacking three people at a gas station and trying to set the place on fire.

Tulsa police arrested Phillip Bowles Friday morning at a gas station near 15th and Peoria.

Officers say he slashed the tires on a man's truck, then entered the gas station, tried to steal some cigarettes, fought with the cashier, then used a can of bug spray and a lighter to set a shelf on fire.

Police arrived soon after and arrested Bowles.
