Lynchburg Parks and Recreation has announced the line-up for its Movies in the Park series, now in its third year.

The free film series, held at Riverside Park, will begin with “The Incredibles” on Friday, May 18, and continue with “Moana” on Friday, June 15, and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” on Friday, Aug. 17.

On Saturday, July 14, “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” will be shown at the Miller Park Pool.

Each screening begins at 8 p.m. and includes local food trucks and fare from downtown restaurants. Rain dates also are established in the case of bad weather. Attendees should bring their own chairs and blankets.
