The Capital Hospital here would soon provide CT scan service to patients free of cost, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Pratap Jena in the State Assembly in response to a question of BJD MLA Priyadarshi Mihsra on Thrusday.

The Minister stated that the Spandan Diagnostic Private Limited, West Bengal has been issued a work order to establish a CT scan machine in the premier Government hospital of the city. The CT scan would be installed under the ‘Nidan’ scheme, the Minister said.

The old CT scan machine has remained inoperative since January 23, 2018, he said.
