If attention is not paid to our concerns we take protests to streets to register our worsening conditions, said members of Laghu Udhyog Bharti while speaking with the media persons on Thursday.

Secretary of Laghu Udhyog Bharti Rajesh Kumar Mishra said that none of our concerns have been addressed in the period of 1-2 years.

The increase in property tax, lease and maintenance charges by AKVN has increased their expenses which is eating their profits and for small industries the trend could even led to their shut down in long run.

The schemes of government are never helpful as in case of 40 per cent subsidy was replaced by 15 percent subsidy but it do not covers building which is the most expensive among the three building, plant and machinery. This subsidy do not applies for private land for setting of industries. All the rules have been made to harass industries only.

Government declared free hold of land by DIC but it never implemented. Another concern is of providing land as there are 1200 applications pending and none has been provided with land.

Laghu Udyog Samvardhan board has been formed and works in arbitrary manner. These have also been formed at district level but except 4-5 districts other districts have seen least interest.

Small land plots at various industrial areas of the state are vacant but are not provided to the industries due to rule of minimum plot size of 10000 sq ft by AKVN and there are numerous plot in the range of 3000 -6000 sq ft in size where industries could be set.
