TULSA, Oklahoma -

Thousands are expected to attend JaneFest in downtown Tulsa starting Friday evening.

More than 40 bands and DJs will perform as a part of the "Take Me Higher Music Tour."  Organizers say because the festival is so close to residential areas, a few compromises have been made.

JaneFest say music will be cut off at 11:30 p.m., 24-hour security is in place for the entire event and the stage will face west, which is different than originally planned.

There are also a few important road closures. Greenwood will be closed from 1st to 3rd Streets and 2nd Street is closed from Frankfort to Greenwood.
