Family's fears for Mount Waverley man missing for nine days
The family of a Mount Waverley man missing for nine days is scared for his safety.
Yiwei Chu was last seen buying fast food at a chain in Notting Hill in the city's south-east about midday on Wednesday, April 11.
He has not contacted his family since, which his family told police was very unusual and out of character.
His family and police have grave concerns for his safety.
The 28-year-old, who also goes by the name of Carl, was believed to be driving a white Toyota Camry with the registration 1LN 3VR.
CCTV footage of his last-known sighting shows him wearing black-rimmed glasses, a cream and brown camouflage jacket over a T-shirt with a picture of Snoopy on it, dark blue jeans and black sneakers with white soles.
Anyone who sees Mr Chu or has any information can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
