A synopsis reads: “It’s the first day of the new season and the Hacketts are very excited to be back on site, especially as Neil believes he has found a friend in new area manager Darren.
“His proof for this blossoming relationship is that he was able to eat an out of date BLT sandwich without having to ask permission!
“After Neil tells her there is a strong chance Darren and his vegetarian wife might be planning to visit over the weekend, Fiona sets about trying to plan the perfect menu to impress their guests.
“But Neil is left stunned when he receives a text from Darren telling him not to come in on Monday as he knows what he’s done.
BBC
“To make matters worse, site manager Thistlewaite has chosen to install a brand new WiFi mast right outside the Hackett’s front window. In despair, Neil escapes to the lake searching for solace and finds Robert on sparkling form celebrating a business award.
“When Neil returns to the lodge to see the mast about to be installed, he has a spontaneous moment of righteous anger, and takes drastic action that leaves everyone shocked and without WiFi!”
