T’puram: The Vattappara police on Thursday registered a case on ragging and launched a probe after three students of a private dental college here went missing since Wednesday.
The case was registered after receiving a complaint from the parent of one of the students, who alleged that ragging by senior students was the cause of his ward running away from home. According to the police, the three students missing are Mohammed Islam, Govind and Abdulla. It was found that the three youths did not turn up for the exam on Wednesday.

Govind’s father said in his complaint that his son had told him about the harassment he faced from a few senior students.

The college suspended two senior students on Thursday. Tnn
