The three-day Capital Day foundation programme concluded
on Sunday with cultural programmes held at the Rajadhani Mandap inside the campus of
Indira Gandhi Park in front of the state assembly. The 70
th Capital Day foundation programme was organised by the organising committee along with the
Khorda district administration,
State Information and Public Relation department and Odia Language, Literature and Culture department. The cultural events saw Odissi, Sambalpuri and many other classical and folk dances being performed on the stage in the evening. The residents joined in large numbers to enjoy the cultural programmes under the open sky amid decorative lights lending a different look to the entrance of the park.
