VARANASI: Unrest prevailed in
Sardaspur village of
Ballia district after some anti-social elements damaged the statue of
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar late Tuesday night.
The local administration swung into action and replaced the damaged statue on Wednesday.
An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons in this connection.
According to reports, the incident took place around 2am at night at the village in
Rasara police station area.
