OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City police bomb squad was called overnight to the Biltmore Hotel off of Meridian and Interstate 40 in response to a suspicious device.

Police originally thought they were responding to a shooting and armed robbery at one of the hotel rooms.

According to police, one of the men suffered a laceration on his arm and was taken to a nearby hospital in non-emergency condition.

Meanwhile, security at the hotel asked the other men to leave the property.

Once security performed a sweep of the room, they found suspicious materials that prompted them to call police back to the hotel.

The bomb squad found a cylindrical tube about 24 inches long with caps on both ends which they say contained ammonium nitrate, an ingredient commonly used to make methamphetamine.

Police have information on all three of the individuals found inside the room and police said they are being investigated.
