Bumper Sky TV DEAL promises HALF PRICE bills, here’s how it works
SKY has announced a new half price sale on a number of its popular television packages, however, the new promotion isn’t available via your Sky TV set-top box.
GETTY • SKY UK
Sky has slashed the price of its Sky Cinema and entertainment channels in a jumper new deal via NOW TV.
The UK satellite broadcaster has slashed 50 per cent off its six-month Entertainment and Sky Cinema Pass, dropping the price from over £100, down to £51.
That’s quite the deal – especially since NOW TV charges £9.99 a month for its Sky Cinema Pass alone.
Even better, NOW TV is offering the new deal as a one-off payment. That’s to say, the streaming service will not auto-renew your monthly Pass at a higher rate after the six months is over.
NOW TV doesn’t require viewers sing-up to a contract, either.
NOW TV
For those who don’t know, the NOW TV includes all the same content you’d usually only have access to with a Sky TV subscription, including Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, and exclusive television channels, like Sky Atlantic.
But unlike a traditional annual satellite subscription with Sky, NOW TV customers can pick-and-mix each month.
Sky divides its exclusive content into bundles – dubbed Passes – which can be purchased on a rolling month basis, or for a single day – to enjoy a certain football match, for example.
NOW TV allows customers to cancel or tweak what is in their package at any one time, with Passes starting from £7.99 a month.
The latest NOW TV hardware is also able to pause and rewind live television – although you won't be able to record shows like you can on a Sky HD+ box.
However, that's not too must of a disadvantage, since you can catch-up on the shows you have missed on-demand via apps like BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub.
The latest NOW TV deal includes the Entertainment and Sky Cinema Pass.
This includes access to a number of popular Sky channels not available via FreeView, including MTV, Sky One, FOX, Sky Atlantic, and 300 box sets available to stream on-demand.
As you’d expect, the Sky Cinema Pass offers access to all Sky Cinema channels, which include a new premiere each day.
