Atlassian Corporation Plc shares dropped 11% in the extended session Thursday after the software maker released its fiscal third-quarter earnings. Atlassian stock closed up a fraction to $62.27 during regular trading. The company reported fiscal third-quarter net losses of $14.3 million, or 6 cents a share, compared with losses of $17.5 million, or 41 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted earnings were 10 cents a share. Revenue rose to $223.7 million from $159.9 million in the year-ago period. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated adjusted earnings of 8 cents a share on revenue of $218 million. For the fiscal fourth quarter, analysts model adjusted earnings of 14 cents a share on revenue of $232.3 million. The company said that it expected fourth-quarter adjusted earnings of 12 cents a share on sales of $232 million to $234 million. Atlassian said it expects fiscal 2018 revenue of $862 million to $864 million; Wall Street had predicted fiscal 2018 revenue of $857.4 million. Atlassian stock has gained 37% this year, with the S&P 500 index rising 1.3%.
