FALL RIVER – People, Incorporated has recently promoted two of its staff members to leadership positions in the agency’s Administrative Management Team. Kerry Budnick will now serve as vice president of finance, and Karen Parker will take the role of vice president of facilities and Fleet Management.

Budnick joined People, Incorporated in December 2014 as the accounting manager, a position in which she provided oversight of all general accounting for the agency, while developing and managing all systems for financial transactions. In addition, she prepared, monitored and reported the agency’s annual budget while managing the auditing of all financial statements. Budnick holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island.

Parker has been with People, Incorporated since February 2016 and served as the director of facilities and fleet management. In addition to overseeing a facilities department responsible for over 40 sites and a transportation department with nearly 100 vehicles, she has been a leader in managing the construction of acquired brain injury (ABI) homes and the home-build projects of People Improving Communities and Neighborhoods (PICAN), an affiliate of People Incorporated. Parker earned a bachelor’s degree in facilities engineering from Massachusetts Martime Academy and a master’s degree in facilities management from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
