Sinegr Hill is going on tour to celebrate 'The Miseducation of Hill'.

The 42-year-old will embark on a trek of from July 5 in and end in October 5 in St Louis. It will be followed by international dates to follow, Variety reported.

Hill said she wanted to share the record with world again, which is "an intimate piece" of her "young existence" with her community that needs both love and encouragement in today's times.

"This album chronicled an intimate piece of my young existence. It was the summation of most, if not all, of my most hopeful and positive emotions experienced to that date. I loved and believed deeply in my community's ability to both love and heal itself provided it received the right amount of support and encouragement.

"Our world today, both complex and changing, is in need of the balance between moral fortitude and cathartic expression. I hope the love and that permeated this work can continue to inspire change with love and optimism at the helm," the "Killing Me Softly" hitmaker said in a statement.

A part of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the MLH Foundation, which directly contributes support for education, health, agriculture, technology, and community based businesses and development initiatives "throughout the Diaspora", as per the tour announcement.

"The Miseducation of Hill" (1998) remains Hill's only solo studio album. It was met with massive critical acclaim, showcasing a representation of life and relationships and locating a contemporary voice within the neo soul genre.

She went on to release singles such as "Ex-Factor", "Turn Your Lights Down Low" (with Bob Marley), "Repercussions" among others.
