A Scottish woman, 69, was injured when a route bus she was travelling in collided with a car in Blata l-Bajda on Thursday afternoon.
The police said the accident, at 1pm, involved a bus driven by an Italian man, and a Toyota Starlet driven by a 46-year-old man from Tarxien.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was hospitalised.
The police are investigating.
