Turnover on NSE's F&O segment spurts

Nifty April at modest premium

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 12.15 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 7.91 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the index rose 39.10 points or 0.37% to settle at 10,565.30.

Hindalco Industries, Vedanta, Tata Steel, and (JSPL) were the top traded individual stock contracts in F&O segment of NSE. April 2018 traded at 263.85, at a discount from spot closing of 264.20. April 2018 traded at 311.35, at a premium over spot closing of 310.45.

April 2018 traded at 621.70, at a premium over spot closing of 621.40. April 2018 traded at 1,826.85, at a discount from spot closing of 1,835. JSPL April 2018 traded at 260.55, at a premium over spot closing of 259.40.

The April 2018 F&O contracts expire on 26 April 2018.
