2 booked for assault on minor girl in city

Koh-e-Fiza police have booked two persons for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at Sajida Nagar on Tuesday.

Police said that the accused is step father of the victim and he along with his brother sexually assaulted the victim.

A complaint was lodged with the police by the victim’s mother after she reported the incident to her mother. In her complaint the victim claimed that after her husband died she came into contact with the accused Ramdas who offered to marry her and later started to live with him.

The accused was married and his wife used to have fight over his second marriage after which she left the house and used to remain with her daughter in a separate house. On Monday, wife of accused wife had gone to her parents’ house and to prepare food victim’s mother had gone to the house where the accused told her to send her daughter for preparing food and while the victim was asleep in the night accused sexually assaulted her and later his brother sexually assaulted her.

The police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and section 3 and 4 of the POCSO Act have started further investigation.

Meanwhile, TT Nagar police have booked chairman of a private college who was involved in sexually exploiting a 37-year-old woman employee; using her video of sexual assault accused continued sexually assaulting for the past 6 years.

The accused chairman of Madhav Engineering College Rajesh Parasar sexually assaulted the victim at corporate office in TT Nagar in the year 2012 and made video of the sexual assault and later used to blackmail her and exploited her in the name of making the video public.

The police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
