Human remains of two people found in different locations in city: police

Hamilton police say they located a male Wednesday in west Hamilton. Police say they're also investigating after human remains were discovered near the shore in the area of Millen Road in Stoney Creek.

Hamilton police say remains of two people have been found at different locations in city. 

This is the third finding of bodies and remains to be found this week in Hamilton.

On Tuesday police announced they had found the body of a Hamilton teen who went missing in October of last year.

Police say on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. a dead male was discovered off the rail trail near the Chedoke stairs.

According to police, the male has been identified and police are trying to locate the family.

Police say the cause of death hasn't been determined, but police don't suspect foul play.

Hamilton police also announced Thursday that they're investigating after human remains were discovered near the shore in the area of Millen Road in Stoney Creek.

Police say the initial remains were found Tuesday and more discovered on Wednesday. 

It isn't known whether the remains belong to a male or female. 

Police say they are currently conducting a ground search of the area.

At this point, police say foul play isn't suspected.
