Earth Day events planned in Painesville

The public is invited to come celebrate Earth Day with the Painesville Parks and Recreation Department from 1 to 4 p.m., April 21, in Veterans Park on Painesville Square.

This year’s event features an Earth Day-themed magic show for the kids at 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Kids can also participate in environmentally friendly crafts, games and learning activities.

Adults can browse the repurposed craft fair with local vendors. The Painesville Electric Plant will also be passing out black spruce and maple tree saplings to take home.
