Deputies are looking for a couple accused of using a stun gun to rob a DeBary man in his home.
Jesse Adkins, 36, of Osteen, and Stephanie Campaign, 29, of Deltona, knocked on the door of a man's house on Angeles Road, waited for him to answer the door and then barged in while holding an active stun gun to his face, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
The robbery took place around 2 a.m. March 17, deputies said.
Adkins accused the man of beating up someone one and threatened him. The man denied beating up anyone and then Adkins demanded to know where he kept his "stash," according to the Sheriff's Office.
Adkins and Campaign left the premises with cash, a cellphone, a jar containing up to 4 grams of marijuana and a blue pocket knife, deputies said.
Warrants have been issued for both suspects. Detectives said they are armed and dangerous. Campaign has a long arrest record that includes drug possession, robbery, grand theft and burglary. Adkins' previous arrests have included aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, heroin possession, retail theft and credit card fraud.
Anyone with information about the pair's whereabouts is urged to call the Sheriff's Office at 386-248-1777. Those who want to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 1-888-277-TIPS or through the website westopcrime.com.
