Uber cabby flashes before woman passenger, held

An Uber driver was arrested for allegedly masturbating while ferrying a woman passenger in his cab, police said on Wednesday. The driver was arrested by the staff of South Avenue police station after an FIR was lodged against him by the woman passenger.

The incident occurred on the night of April 15 in Lutyens' Delhi. The accused, identified as Shokeen Khan, was arrested and was found to be having a fake driving licence, they said. Khan, a resident of The Puchana area in Mewat district of Haryana, was later produced before a city court and has been remanded to judicial custody.

The woman had booked the cab from the airport. She saw the driver masturbating at the wheel. When the cab reached near Janpath, she asked the driver to stop near a police vehicle.  The driver fled the spot but was later nabbed, a senior police official of New Delhi district said. 

 Uber in a statement said they were cooperating with the probe. A spokesperson of the cab aggregator said, “What's been described is deplorable and something no one should ever go through. We're working with local authorities to support their investigation and proceedings in any way possible.”

It may be noted that a taekwondo instructor A identified as Sandeep Chauhan was arrested a few days ago  for allegedly flashing and masturbating in front of two women in the Vasant Kunj area of southwest Delhi.

In a recent case, a  54 year old man was arrested by West district police after he was accused of masturbating infront of the women. The man was arrested after 15 women protested and lodged a complaint with the Rajouri Garden police station that man has been harassing them. He used to press the door bells of their house and masturbate and often removed his pants.
