An Ode to Italy

Through a new cocktail menu, Le Sirenuse Champagne Bar invites guests on a journey to Positano through a sensorium experience that aims to transport guests to this Mediterranean gem using six elements that best represent Positano.

“Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone,” – John Steinbeck from Harper’s Baazar, May 1953

Sun, lemons, flowers, soil, sea and coffee – each element is carefully woven into the one-of-a-kind cocktails crafted by lead bartender Valentino Longo. He has beautifully intertwined these elements into each new menu item. Terra, the earthly Old Fashioned, pays homage to the lavish land of Positano, or guests can tantalise the senses with the Limoni, a lemon Negroni.

The Art of Aperitivo

Taking from the age old Italian tradition of aperitivo, Bar Manager Jacopo Rosito is pleased to introduce The Art of Aperitivo. When at the Champagne Bar, he wants guests to “do as the Italians do.” Every day from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, guests are invited to indulge in the cocktail culture of Italy. For USD 19, order a custom-made Bellini tableside and receive a special selection of bites prepared by Chef Antonio Mermolia.

Viaggio: The Cocktail Series

Each month, the Champagne Bar will invite an award-winning bartender to join them in providing a unique mixology experience. The first night of this event will take place on April 23, 2018 at 7:00 pm with award-winning bartender Simone Caporale. The guest bartender will intertwine elements and flavours reminiscent of their own heritage, to create signature cocktails complementing those featured in Champagne Bar.
