Amazon's Alexa voice platform has surpassed 12,000 in India - the voice-powered apps for the Echo range. The information has come from Puneesh Kumar, Country Manager, Alexa, India.
Alexa, Amazon's digital voice-assistant, powers the company's Echo smart speakers range. Kumar says the entire Echo range has been customized for the Indian market and the cheapest of them is the Echo Dot.
Jain says the company is still evaluating to bring more Android One smartphones to India. Last year, Xiaomi launched the Mi A1 - the company's first Android One-branded smartphone in India. Jain claims the Mi A1 was a massive success in India.
Xiaomi wants to bring more and more people online through its affordable smartphones. But the company also seeks to move beyond smartphones. Over the past few months, Xiaomi has launched a number of unconventional devices in India, like TVs, Air Purifiers, smart fitness bands, etc.
Adobe is combining art and technology to bring digital experiences to life. Natarajan says artificial intelligence and machine learning will prove disruptive in nature.
HMD Global is the first third-party OEM to push monthly security patches for its Android-powered smartphones. Pranav says the company will continue to provide smartphones with pure Android
Shanmugh Natarajan, MD, Adobe India will deliver a keynote on AI and Design.
HMD Global sees India as an important market. The Finnish company, which owns the rights to the Nokia brand, is betting on India for its comeback in the mainstream smartphone market. Pranav says both Nokia 2 and Nokia 7 Plus has been designed in keeping the local market in mind.
