DURHAM, N.C. – A North Carolina restaurant is serving up a "Tarantula Burger," featuring a chargrilled trantula on top of a beef patty.

Bull City Burger and Brewery hosts “Exotic Meat Month" every April. The month is a celebration of exotic meats eaten around the country and the world. In the past, Bull City Burger and Brewery has served iguana, camel, alligator, and various insects, reported.

Restaurant owner Seth Gross told Reuters that the restaurant only gets 15 of the farm-raised tarantulas each year, so those who want to try the burger have to come to the restaurant and fill out a lottery ticket.

“You come in, you fill in a lottery ticket,” he told Reuters. “If we draw your name, you come and get to eat one.”

The challenge began April 4, and will continue every day while the creepy, crawly supply lasts.

Once the raffle number is drawn, the winner has 2 days to schedule a date with their tarantula Burger: a pasture-raised NC beef burger, gruyere cheese, oven-roasted tarantula, and spicy chili sauce.

Oh, and it comes with a side of Dirty Fries, all for just $30!

Winners, aka those who eat the whole burger, will get a limited-edition tarantula Challenge t-shirt and bask in arachnid, social media glory.
