Captains suffer 7-2 setback to Lugnuts

A day after snapping a five-game losing streak, the Captains fell back to the losing side of the ledger with a 7-2 setback at Lansing.

The Lugnuts roughed up starter Juan Hillman (0-2) for six runs, all earned, on four hits in three innings. He walked three and struck out three.

The Captains (5-6) mustered four hits. Second baseman Jorma Rodriguez had a double, a run scored and an RBI.

The series continues at 7:05 p.m. April 19. Francisco Perez (0-0, 3.60 ERA) is the scheduled starter for Lake County.
