French ambassador to India Alexandre Ziegler today discussed several components of the Smart City Mission, including mobility, with senior officials of the Chandigarh administration.
The officials discussed about the progress of the mission in areas of round-the-clock water supply, upgradation of sewerage treatment plants and mobility, it said.
From the Chandigarh administration, the meeting was attended by Parimal Rai, adviser to administrator; Home secretary Anurag Aggarwal; Finance secretary A K Sinha; and Municipal Commissioner Jitendar Yadav.
The FDA has been helping Chandigarh and Puducherry, and Nagpur in Maharashtra develop into smart cities.
