FPJ Exclusive: Govind Namdev honoured by MP government, praises people of MP for their hard work


Indian actor Govind Namdev has been honoured with Excellence in Entertainment Award at the India News Madhya Pradesh Gaurav Awards. The actor who is known for his negative roles in the films like Satya, OMG – Oh My God!, Garv and others, was honoured with this prestigious award by Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Well, after getting this award, Govind Namdev told Free Press Journal, “This is a proud moment for me that MP honoured me for my work. I am extremely grateful that last week I got an award of Madhya Pradesh Ratna Award and now Madhya Pradesh Gaurav award by CM Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan. It gives me joy and energy to work ahead. I have really given 15 years to theatre to make myself an accomplished actor because I didn’t have any big boss in this industry. I would like to request all the aspiring actors to keep a target of 5-6 years that where do they want to see themselves after 5-6 years.  This is the path of victory.”


 

Madhya Pradesh considered as the below poverty state of India. From that condition, Govind Namdev managed to earn a respectful position in the industry. About that, Govind Namdev said, “Madhya Pradesh follows values and culture. We the people of MP have always been willing to work hard. We have intention to surpass big things by putting a lot of efforts. That’s why I got a space and respect in Bollywood. Apart from that, directors and producers have shown faith in me. That’s the best thing!”

After learning about Govind Namdev’s overall experiences, we tried to know about his upcoming projects. About that, he said, “My upcoming film is ‘Gandhi the conspiracy’, where I am playing Morarji Desai, After that, ‘Kashi in search of Ganga’, ‘Varanasi Junction’, ‘Jhalki-Ek Aur Bachpan’ are also there in the process.”
