Allege PM is going back on the promise of helping State

Over 200 supporters of Telugu Desam Party led by AP Mahila Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari performed ‘bhajan’ in front of a temple in Pedanandipadu in a dramatic protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Led by MPP Muddana Rajakumari, a large group of women performed ‘bhajan’ for over an hour accompanied by musical instruments.

Ms. Rajakumari said that Mr. Modi would incur the wrath of five crore people in the State for going back on the promise of helping the State after bifurcation. She also said that the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would emerge unscathed even if all forces unite against him.

Special Category Status

District TDP youth wing secretary Ravipati Saikrishna who had earlier led his supporters on a ‘jala deeksha’ in Guntur Channel, said that youth in the State had suffered due to impact of bifurcation and wanted the Centre to help by granting Special Category Status.
