Bhopal: Congress MLA Jitu Patwari has been sent to jail as ADJ Suresh Singh rejected bailina 10-year-old case.The Fast Track court gave this decision on Tuesday. On December 13, 2007, Patwari had staged a demonstration at Khudel police station over road construction.
Police registered a case against him for obstructing police from discharging their duties and he even manhandled a constable, Kailash, who filed a complaint against him. Initially,the case was registered in Indore and later it transferred to the FastTrack Court.
However,the court granted bail to Patwari, Satyanarayan Patel, Surjeet Chadda, Pintu Joshi, Archana Jaiswal, Abhay Verma and Navin Raikwar in another case.
