Avengers Infinity War: Does THIS confirm a Young Avengers movie is set for Marvel Phase 4?
AVENGERS INFINITY WAR sequel Avengers 4 has cast an older version of Ant-Man’s daughter, sparking speculation of time travel and a Young Avengers movie.
Next week Avengers Infinity War is finally released but it will only be concluded in 2019’s Avengers 4.
And yet not much is known about the Marvel epic’s sequel, although set photos have been showing some very intriguing scenes.
Fans have been speculating therefore that Avengers 4 will involve time travel, or at least some multi-verse crossing.

And now it looks there’s further confirmation of this theory after Emma Furhmann has been cast as Cassie Lang, the daughter of Scott Lang aka Ant-Man.
According to That Hashtag Show, the 16-year-old will play an older version of the 10-year-old actress, Abby Ryder Fortson, who plays Cassie in Ant-Man and the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp.
So there are two possibilities as to why an older actress plays Cassie in Avengers 4.
Either time/multi-verse travel is definitely happening, or the Marvel sequel is set a number of years after Ant-Man and the Wasp.
In the comics Cassie Lang is a member of Young Avengers and has the aliases of Stature and Stinger, but must crucially Ant-Girl and Giant-Girl.
Marvel fans have speculated that a Young Avengers movie could be in the works.
Fans will know that Scarlet Witch and Vision have twin sons in the comics called Speed and Wiccan, who both grow up to be members of the Young Avengers.

Certainly these two factors seem to be pointing to a Young Avengers movie in the future.
