'One of a kind': Tributes flow for father found in Geelong car boot
Tributes are flowing for the ''one of a kind'' father of three whose body was found in a Geelong car boot as police investigate whether the victim was struck to the head with a heavy object.
Jason Fry's body was found in the rear of a black Holden station wagon at North Shore on Sunday after police responding to a suspected burglary stumbled on the gruesome find, about 11am.
His body may have been driven around in the back of a vehicle for up to 48 hours before being found.
Family have remembered Mr Fry as a father and uncle who was always there for his family.
Niece Kirra Adams said Mr Fry was "truely one of kind".
"Thanks for teaching me the things in life, I'll cherish them forever. You didn't deserve this uncle Jason," she wrote.
"I love you forever and always, I'll always watch over your beautiful kids and protect them just like you'd want."
A 40-year-old man, also from the heavily industrial suburb of North Shore, was charged with murder on Tuesday after being arrested in Lara, north of Geelong, earlier in the day.
He is set to front Geelong Magistrates' Court on Wednesday after being remanded in custody overnight.
Previously from Melbourne, Mr Fry had only recently moved to the Geelong area.
It's thought the 41-year-old's body may have been in the vehcile for since at least Friday.
