Durfee's Lucas Sousa went the distance for the Hilltoppers, striking out seven in his six innings of work. He allowed eight hits and walked two.

The Hilltoppers, who scored three first-inning runs, keyed by a run-scoring Brett Fonseca single, finished with seven hits. No Durfee player had more than one hit.

Ismael Moreno, who had a bases-loaded walk in the three-run first, scored twice for Durfee.

Durfee fell to 2-2.
