Halifax Humane Society is hosting its eighth annual Mutt Strutt 5K fun run/walk at 8 a.m. Saturday starting at the Daytona Beach Bandshell.
Animal lovers of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the 5K run/walk.
General registration for the 5K is $5 in advance and $10 onsite. A registration package is $25 in advance or $30 onsite and includes a 2018 event T-shirt, a raffle ticket and one drink ticket.
Participants are encouraged to create or join a team of walkers to raise donations for Halifax Humane Society.
