Leaders of the Congress, the RJD and other opposition parties besides BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha would attend a programme of former union minister Yashwant Sinha's organisation Rashtra Manch on April 21, a Samajwadi Party leader said today.
Sinha, who is another dissident BJP leader, along with people from various other fields including politicians had launched the Rashtra Manch on January 30 in New Delhi.
Besides Shatrughan Sinha and Yashwant Sinha, Trinamool Congress MP Dinesh Trivedi, RJD's Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, RLD leader Jayant Choudhary, Aam Admi Party's Sanjay Singh and disgruntled JD(U) leader Uday Narayan Choudhary would attend the programme, Samajwadi Party spokesman Ghanshyam Tiwari told reporters here.
Tiwari claimed that BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, which promised "Achhe Din" to the people, has actually been pushing the country towards "Bure Din".
The Rashtra Manch is committed to protect seven issues that included protecting, preserving and safeguarding institutions of democracy in the country, he said.
