David E. McLaughlin, 79, formerly of Aliquippa, passed away. He was preceded in death by his son, Shaun McLaughlin. Survived by his wife, Colletta McLaughlin; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Eunice McLaughin; sister, Nancy Blickenderfer; children, Dave (Tresa) McLaughlin Jr., Dawn (Stephen) Ingram, Dan (Chris) McLaughlin, Debbie (Tim) Shaffer and Shane McLaughlin; grandchildren, Frank (Ashley) Campbell, Amber McLaughlin, Tori Ingram, Noah Ingram, Timmy Shaffer and Taylor McLaughlin, and four great-grandchildren. He served as a Marine in the Middle East and was a member of the United Steelworkers of America. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Independence Township Community Center, 116 School Road, Aliquippa, Pa., from 5 to 8 p.m.
