“This guy, this administration, is beyond belief. It has to stop.”

Tell us how you really feel, Robert De Niro.

When the Oscar-winning actor stopped by the “Today” show Wednesday with Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal, his “Saturday Night Live” cameo from over the weekend — and his related political views — became a hot topic.

De Niro depicted special counsel Robert S. Mueller III alongside former co-star Ben Stiller, who played one of President Trump’s lawyers, Michael Cohen, in a Trump-admin-themed “Meet the Parents” spoof. And De Niro hopes he gets to put on the prosthetics again.

“I hope there’s a couple [of episodes] where I interrogate him, then I arrest him and then escort him to jail,” the “Raging Bull” actor said of possible future sketch ideas. When asked who exactly he was talking about throwing in prison, De Niro responded, “No, not Cohen. Him, too, but definitely Trump, yes.”

De Niro admitted he has been pretty upfront about his distaste for Trump’s White House. Although he has never been this politically active during past administrations, the actor said he feels more inclined to be now and thinks others should, as well. “People have to speak out,” he said. “They have to speak out over and over and over again.”
