State police on Wednesday released a surveillance photo and sought the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed a Montcalm County convenience store and gas station last week.
The robbery at the Trading Post in Pierson happened just after 10 a.m. last Thursday, state police at the Lakeview Post said in a press release.
The suspect, described as a white man between 20 and 40 years old and 6-foot-3 to 6-foot-5 tall, was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt or jacket and black pants with a white stripe down the side.
“He was carrying a long gun and told the employees to open the register,” police said. “He left with an undisclosed amount of money.”
He fled heading south in a black pickup truck.
