IITs need to boost delivery system, says Delhi director

Emphasising that Indian Institute of Technologys (IITs) are very good in Research and Development (R&D) but lag in “delivery” part, IIT-Delhi Director V Ramgopal Rao said that IIT's need to strengthen the Incubation process in order to take its products to the society.

“Sometimes industries do not show enough interest and sometimes our faculty and students don't know how to take the product to the market,” he said. IIT-D has inaugurated a huge campus in Sonipat which is its extension campus and almost 200 crore of money have already been invested.
