BHUBANESWAR: The discussion of the joint forum of agitating block grant teachers in school and colleges with the government failed on Tuesday.

Prakash Mohanty said the government is non-committal on their demand of withdrawal of the controversial affidavit proposed by the government.
The government has made an affidavit a pre-condition that block grant teachers have to file swearing that they will never stage protest against the government or approach court regarding grievances if they are considered for full grant-in-aid.
Mohanty said the teachers will go ahead with their plan of a mass rally on Wednesday where they will decide their future course of action.
