Cape Town – After almost 5 months of nothing, Ariana Grande is making a comeback on social media with some new music.

The Into You hitmaker tweeted on Tuesday for the first time since 1 January and fans are convinced it’s a massive hint that a new album is on its way.

Ariana first tweeted a tear drop emoji.

She then shared a message that she missed her fans and followers.

And finally, the 24-year-old tweeted the phrase, “No tears left to cry” spelled backwards, which fans also noticed was stitched on a sweater Ariana had previously worn, E! News reports.

Ariana’s mom, Joan Grande and brother, Frankie Grande also shared a tear emoji on their social media alongside snaps of themselves also wearing sweaters with the phrase on it.

Ariana’s manager, Scooter Braun, took the hint even further but quoting the Bang Bang hitmaker’s tweet, saying: “I need to make plans for this Friday.”

The Scream Queens actress’s final tweet before disappearing from social media was a short sound clip of herself humming a tune.
