Paulo part of Raiders' plans
Prop Junior Paulo might be set to return to his old club Parramatta, but the Canberra Raiders have ruled out releasing him this season.
Raiders recruitment boss Peter Mulholland said Paulo was an important part of their plans for 2018.
The Green Machine will look to continue their revival from a slow start when they face the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday.
Paulo denied he'd signed with the Eels on Tuesday, but reports of a four-year deal worth almost $3 million have continued to circulate.
The Raiders weren't willing to offer that length contract, with two years believed to be the offer they've tabled Paulo.
