Commando family threat led him to join Hizbul Mujahideen

Security establishment believes that  Army commando Idris Mir joined the  ranks of Hizbul Mujahideen after militants threatened to eliminate hi8s family members. Mir’s  service record says Mir is an ace ghatak commando standing first in the firing and battlecraft tests. This the second such instance of a soldier from Shopian joining terrorists
