Tech on tap to help local food manufacturers

The technology called HPP, housed in a shared facility in Jurong, can extend the shelf-life of food products

The shared facility housing this equipment for High-Pressure Processing (HPP) of food products was set up by Enterprise Singapore, Warehouse Logistics Net Asia, and Singapore Polytechnic's Food Innovation Resource Centre. It is the first in a line of shared facilities to be rolled out for the industry over the next three years under the Food Manufacturing Industry Transformation Map.
