Two men and a woman are accused of assaulting a man in Lake Wichita Park for reportedly talking with one of their relatives.

Zachary Doan, 22; William James Jordan Muirhead, 19; and Angelica Marie Wade, 21, are each charged with aggravated robbery.

All three were out of the Wichita County Jail Tuesday afternoon on $25,000 bail each.

According to the probable cause affidavit:

On Feb. 2, Wichita Falls police were sent to the 5200 block of Fairway Boulevard on a check welfare call.

A man said he was contacted by Wade earlier in the day asking if he wanted to meet up to smoke marijuana with a group of friends.

After several messages, the man drove to an apartment complex of Seymour Road to meet up with Muirhead.

The man said Wade later told him she couldn't meet up with them because she was at work.

The man said Muirhead and three unknown white males that he'd never seen before got into a dark blue F-150 and went to Lake Wichita Park, 5205 Fairway Blvd., to smoke marijuana and run up the "big hill."

He said the group of guys began hitting him repeatedly with their fists and kicking him when they arrived to the park.

The suspects took a knife out of the man's pocket and held it up to his left wrist. They then stole his wallet with all of its contents and his knife.

The man told police he didn't know why they were mad at him or why they wanted to hurt him. He also said he was in fear for his life and wasn't sure what they were going to do next.

The man was taken to United Regional Health Care System for treatment of his extensive injuries.

On Feb. 6, detectives were sent to the 1500 block of Speedway Avenue to speak with a relative of Muirhead.

That relative said he was told about the incident that happened on Feb. 2 and that it involved Wade, Doan and Muirhead.

He said he was told the trio text a "kid" to hang out and drove to Lake Wichita to beat him up. He said they took his money and phone.

On Feb. 7, detectives were called by another third-party witness. A man said he went to a convenience store where Wade worked and had visited with her.

He said Doan and Muirhead walked into the store after the incident happened.

The witness overheard Wade ask the pair "How bad did you beat him up?" in response to Doan having an injured hand.

The witness said Wade later told him that Doan and Muirhead beat up the victim because he was talking to Doan's niece.

Detectives retrieved surveillance video from the night of the incident. It showed the pair arrive in the suspect dark blue Ford F-150 truck. It also appeared that Doan had his hand wrapped.

OnĀ Feb. 9, detectives spoke with Wade, who said people were blaming her for what happened to the victim. She claimed she had nothing to do with it.

After several moments, she admitted to being aware that the victim had done something "bad." She told the detective she didn't realize it was going to be "that bad."

Wade said she was told the victim was trying to solicit sex from a minor and she thought this was only going to be a scare to get him not to do it again.

Detectives spoke with another employee of the convenience store on April 5.

The employee said she was getting off work on the day of the incident around 7 or 8 p.m. As she was getting ready to leave, Doan and Muirhead arrived to the store.

The employee said she heard Wade yell out, "Oh, I know him. I went to school with him."

She said Doan replied, "I'm going to kill that (expletive). It's on. It's on. I'm going to kill him. He's dead."

Doan then reportedly told Wade to "set it up" and the pair left in a hurry. The employee recalled Doan being very angry.

The employee said Wade told her "they're after me," clarifying the person was a "pedophile. We didn't do anything wrong."
