Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Tuesday that President Donald Trump's tweet about Russia and China playing a "currency devaluation game" was a "warning shot." On Friday, the Treasury Department declined to label either nation a currency manipulator in a report. Trump said during his presidential campaign he would label China a currency manipulator, and Mnuchin said in a CNBC interview Trump was warning Beijing not to devalue its currency as it's done in the past.
