Shore Middle School in Mentor also present their spring show this weekend.

It is a comedic version of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.” Set in the 1980s and featuring Alan Menken’s songs from the 1989 film, the cast and crew want to bring you under the sea and invite you to become part of their world.

Performances are at 7 p.m. April 19, 20 and April 21 at the Shore Middle School Small Gym. Tickets are $6 and are available for purchase in the main office during school hours and at the door.

“I have had an amazing time working with ‘The Little Mermaid’ cast as the student assistant director,” says Vivianne Clark. “Drama club is a beautiful atmosphere full of creative energy and friendship-building experiences.”

“I’ve enjoyed all of the positive feedback and compliments from all my fellow cast mates,” says Siobhan Bracken, who plays Ursula. “It’s a very positive environment and everyone there feels very comfortable to be themselves.”

“I enjoy the people I have been able to work with,” says cast member Sydney Marino. “Everyone is so inclusive, and the choreography is super fun to learn.”

Shore seems the perfect place for an ocean-themed show. Go “Under the Sea” with them this weekend.
