The Queen’s sassiness and humour caused social media to erupt in support of her last night.
Bernie Robinson said on Twitter: "Just watching #TheQueensGreenPlanet and so pleased to see #tinsel on the Christmas Tree that had been decorated as well as all the other decorations.
"So much for people saying 'Tinsel is tacky', if it's good enough for the #Queen then I'll keep using it too."

“I won’t be here though”.
In another scene, the monarch joked that a tree was lopsided because “somebody sat on it at a garden party”.
Speaking to the Radio Times about the show, Sir David said: “There was a certain amount of apprehension because all sorts of things could have gone wrong.
“There were problems in that where the palace is, geographically, there are always police sirens and ambulance sirens that make filming difficult. But she took it all in her stride. ‘
“It was a privilege of course, a very nice occasion – and she was very gracious.”
