Tanzania: Udart Buses Resume Operations

Dar es Salaam — The Usafiri Dar es Salaam Rapid Transit (Udart) buses have resumed transport services from Kimara to the city center along the Morogoro road.

Udart suspended its operations following floods at Jangwani valley due to heavy rains, which pounded for the last three days.

In a brief statement released on Tuesday, April 17 by Udart spokesperson, Deus Bugaywa the service resumed at 8.30 AM.

"We are sincerely apologizing for any inconveniences that we might have caused to commuters," read the statement in part.
