Traffic diversions on Srinagar Colony to Punjagutta road

In-charge City Police Commissioner D.S. Chauhan on Tuesday said there will be traffic restrictions from the Srinagar Colony to Red Rose Hotel, opposite NIMS Hospital due to laying of the underground cable work from April 19 to May 31.

a) Heavy vehicles like District RTC buses and others heavy vehicles coming from Sangareddy, Zahirabad, Patancheruvu will not be allowed towards Panjagutta and they will be diverted at Kukatpally Y Junction towards Narsapur X Road - Balanagar – Ferozguda – Bowenpally Junction – right turn – Tadbund Junction – right turn - Balamrai Junction – C.T.O., Junction – Paradise Hotel Junction – M.G. Road – Raniganj Junction - Karbala Maidan Junction – Upper Tank Bund – Ambedkar Statue Junction – right turn – Telugu Talli Junction – Old Secretariat Road - A.G. office - Ravindra Bharathi.

b) Private travel buses from Patancheruvu, Miyapur, Kukatpally towards Andhra and Rayalseema via Ameerpet, Panjagutta will not be allowed towards Maitrivanam and it will be diverted towards Kukatpally at S.R Nagar opposite to Gowtham Degree College “U” Turn to pick the passengers at S.R Nagar.

c) City RTC Buses and essential goods vehicles like petrol, diesel and LPG tanks from Patancheru – Miyapur – KPHB Colony – Kukatpally towards Khairthabad will be diverted at S.R Nagar X Road (Umesh Chandra Statue) – left turn – Community Hall – R & B Signal – right turn – Sonabai Temple – left turn - Ameerpet GHMC grounds – D.K. Road Junction – left turn - Greenlands Junction – right turn - Hotel I.T.C., Kakatiya Shereton – Monappa Island (Rajeev Gandhi Statue Junction) – left turn – Somajiguda Road – Rajbhavan Road – Khairthabad Junction and joins in the normal route.

d) Some RTC Buses and other heavy vehicles from Krishna Nagar towards Khairthabad via Srinagar Colony Road – Shalimaar Junction will be diverted at Srinagar Colony GHMC Park towards Srinagar T Junction – left turn – M. J. Engineering College – Nagarjuna Circle – right turn under the Panjagutta flyover – GVK One Mall – Taj Krishna Junction - left turn – K.C.P. Junction ( RTO Junction ) left turn – Chief Engineers Office – U Turn – Khairthabad Junction.

e) RTC Buses and other heavy vehicles from Krishna Nagar towards Begumpet / S.R Nagar via Srinagar Colony Road – Shalimaar Junction will be diverted at Krishna Nagar X Road towards Yousufguda Check Post – Yousufguda Basthi – left turn – Krishna Kanth Park – Kalyan Nagar Junction – right turn – Vengalrao Nagar – S.R Nagar Junction.
